A message from the I AM via a Portal member

Self-worth 

It’s an innate ability.  Our entitlement. You arrived in the world with a spark.  The spark of I AM.  In I AM we know we are worthy. We are loved and we are love. The flame of knowing we are love is fanned by our parents.  We learn self-worth from our parents.  

Our parents’ job is to truly love us for who we are, NOT what we do. To delight in our presence, to enjoy us, treasure us. Just our mere existence should elicit confirmation that we are loved; We are Source. We should be affirmed with love. Confirmed with love. Parents should pass on this spark and fan it until its strong 

Sometimes our parents can’t do this. Sometimes they’ve not been shown how to. Sometimes they were raised in families where appreciation and pleasure could only be experienced if something was accomplished. This is not true love. The spark wasn’t fanned in them. 

Sometimes they were overwhelmed, busy or preoccupied, faced too many demands. This gets in the way of love, joy, treasuring, gratitude for the little beings they were tasked with nurturing. They fail to see that giving love leads to receiving. They forget this is the force of life. 

Sometimes our parents faced pain.  So much pain that it was hard to feel. Hard to see the spark beneath their nose.  Love is made to be strong but can feel vulnerable when you’re frightened it will be taken away, when you’ve been deceived into thinking sex was love, when you’re craving something in scarce supply.  Easier to pretend love isn’t necessary, make yourself hard. 

If you don’t experience love outside, it’s hard to see the flicker of the flame inside.  Its hard to feel worthy even if you know you deserve it.  If you’re living in a human body, cultivating a true loving relationship with another is hard if you’ve not experienced the flame being fanned on earth.  It’s not impossible but it’s hard; extra hard.  You are here on earth.  Living in a human body. You can repair your ability to feel worthy. It’s easier to achieve if you practice in your human body with other humans.  Since you learned this lesson of unworthiness from humans you can unpick this lesson in relationships with humans too. 

I AM will always love you. You will always be worthy of this love. You never were not.  This love is in you.  But to truly feel all this love that you deserve, you have to feel worthy of it.  To spread this ripple of love, you need to be capable of building loving relationships on Earth. You need to unlearn all the hard lessons you learned in your human body.  Without learning this lesson, you will struggle to let the ripple of love grow and spread throughout the earth.  The greatest I AM love will be hampered in its flow if you cannot take the challenge to seed loving relationships here on Earth.  You are love.  You are loved. You are worthy of love. Understand the origin of your human unworthiness. And face it – prove it wrong.
